The Get Down x Horrorshow

brief: 
In support of The Get Down Part II, Netflix ANZ produced a short featurette about the influence of 70s Hip-Hop on Australian Hip-Hop artists Horrowshow and One Day. Netflix then needed the project optimised the for social media and, in particular, silent playback on Facebook.

Delivery:
Utilising a 70s style grain, glow and tape stutter, alongside the more contemporary style of paint-like transitions and 3D Camera tracking, I produced a set of animated subtitles to prioritise the content's cultural significance while also aiming to boost audience retention rates.
